Happy Holidays from The Franklin Institute! In this special edition of #SparkofScience, Science Interpreters Stephen and Brittany are excited to share a little happiness, cheer and science from some of your favorite holidays.

You will find out that sodium polyacrylate is an absorbent powder which gets bigger when water is added to it, that when a force puts an object in motion, the object will remain in motion, that hydrogen is flammable, and that balloons full of hydrogen will combust when set on fire (so we wear goggles and keep our distance when setting hydrogen on fire!).
