  • This Franklin Institute Speaker Series event features three global pioneers who have successfully brought their innovations to market, and ultimately into the public sphere, Laureates Frances Arnold, John Rogers, and Eli Yablonovitch. Their scientific disciplines may seem radically different, yet these laureates all embody the engineering mindset necessary to solve problems, develop new technologies, and move innovative ideas beyond the lab and to the point of human impact. Hear their stories and be a part of the conversation, just days before they take the stage with their fellow laureates to receive their medals at the prestigious Franklin Institute Awards Ceremony. Dr. Donald Morel, Jr., engineer, materials scientist, and chair of the Institute’s board of trustees moderates what promises to be an intriguing discussion and Q&A session.
