The Eatery
The Eatery on the museum's second floor is a culinary destination catering to a wide range of tastes. Open Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, it offers a diverse menu featuring local favorites and options for those with more sophisticated palates.

The menu includes iconic treats like Philadelphia Pretzel Factory soft pretzels, classic cheesesteaks, flavorful pizzas, and cheeseburgers made with high-quality fresh beef from The Grill. For lighter options, find a selection of fresh salads, grilled sandwiches, and daily specials to choose from in The Eatery.

One highlight is the Salad Bar, offering a selection of seasonal proteins, an array of toppings, and various bases to create a personalized and fresh dining experience.

For a local delicacy or a more sophisticated culinary adventure, The Eatery at The Franklin Institute is the spot.  

 

The Franklin Institute Café
The Café in the museum’s Ticketing area is open daily from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm. This popular grab-and-go spot offers a delightful array of culinary delights.

Indulge in assorted options, including sandwiches, refreshing salads, and beverages. The menu also features freshly baked snacks, delicious homemade cookies, and iconic soft pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory for those seeking a local treat.

For a cool and sweet treat, The Café has you covered with favorites like Dippin' Dots™ and ICEE™. Additionally, you can explore seasonal hot items that add a touch of warmth and flavor to your visit.

For a quick snack or even a more substantial bite, The Café is the spot.

 

You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in our Science Park.  Science Park is open seasonally, weather permitting.

There are a variety of local options available within walking distance.  You may re-enter the museum as long as you have your ticket.
