All generate an infectious enthusiasm that spills over into the classroom. And The Franklin Institute provides pre-show classroom activities for all shows to reinforce concepts and expand learning.

Additional Shows: $265 same topic / $395 additional topic

Early morning fee: $75 for shows beginning before 9:00AM.
Split day fee: $125 for one morning and one afternoon.
Weekend fee: $150 for shows performed on Saturday or Sunday.

Scholarships for Traveling Science Shows
Traveling Science Show scholarships are available for qualifying Title I schools in Philadelphia, Chester, and Camden counties.
Samson STEM Learning Initiative Scholarships
Made possible by a generous gift from the Marvin Samson Foundation, The Franklin Institute is excited to offer a limited number of scholarships for qualifying schools to experience the interactive science we have to offer—both here at the museum and through our Traveling Science program.
To qualify for scholarship consideration, schools must:
- be located in Philadelphia, Chester, or Camden county
- be classified as Title 1
- be an elementary or middle school
- have at least fifty percent or more of the student body qualified to receive free/reduced lunch
- Complete the Traveling Science Show Scholarship Request
Traveling Science Show scholarships will cover:
- School Assembly show of your choosing for 250 students. Additional performances may be requested to accommodate the school population.
- Travel Fee
The Franklin Institute must receive your non-refundable deposit of $100 at least 30 days before the date of your show or your reservation will automatically be cancelled. It is important to reserve early to ensure you get the date you want.

Our Traveling Science Shows are uniquely designed to present complex science topics in fun and entertaining ways.
