The Human Heart
From the moment it begins beating until the moment it stops, the human heart works tirelessly. In an average lifetime, the heart beats more than two and a half billion times, without ever pausing to rest. Like a pumping machine, the heart provides the power needed for life.
The Human Heart
Your event will have a beat all its own.
Imagine an event with a beat all its own. The Giant Heart exhibit features the famous walk-through Heart and many other interactive exhibits that explore the science of the human body. Four iconic experiences interpret heart anatomy and physiology in an exhibit gallery framed with architectural details and columns reminiscent of the 1920s World’s Fair.
Want to experience The Franklin Institute’s brand of interactive science in your school or community? Book a show with our Traveling Science Team!
Each of our Traveling Science Shows was created with one goal in mind: to generate an enthusiasm for science that spills over into your elementary or middle school classroom. (Psst … we even have special programs for preschool.)
Traveling Science Shows are also ideal for scout events, parties, community events, and any other occasion that calls for some interactive and fun science for kids.
If you are requesting a show for a Title 1 elementary or middle school in Philadelphia, Chester, or Camden counties, it may be possible to receive a scholarship to cover the cost of a Traveling Science Show visit to your students. To explore this option, please fill out the Traveling Science Show Scholarship Request.
