PSF Partner

Philadelphia Science Festival Partners are the museums, cultural and educational institutions, scientists, engineers, designers, technologists and artists who contribute content to programs, host events, and create STEAM projects during the Philadelphia Science Festival. Join us in our effort to develop high-impact programs that elevate science literacy in our community and beyond.

We believe something really special happens when people come together to inspire their community through creative collaboration. Each year, STEM professionals, local artists, and leading organizations from across the Philadelphia region join forces to create an unbelievable celebration of everything STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)!

2019 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

PROVIDE AN ACTIVITY

PSF offers a wide variety of programs and events for families and adults alike. In many cases, partner involvement includes providing a hands-on activity for attendees. From non-Newtonian fluids to dancing robots and model watersheds, there are countless ways to translate research, lab studies, engineering, field work, or medicine to engaging, hands-on activities for the general public!

THE DETAILS:
We use Eventival, a web-based festival management software, as our partner engagement portal! If you created an account with us in 2018, you can use the same log-in credentials. If you are new, simply click "create new account".

Click here to access the portal and submit your activity!

Applications to provide a hands-on activity will close on March 15, 2019, or when events have filled to capacity.

HOST AN EVENT

One of the primary goals of the Philadelphia Science Festival is to make sure that quality science engagement opportunities take place all throughout the Delaware Valley region. In order to expand the reach of the Festival, geographically diverse organizations are needed to host events that fall into the categories below.

Demand to host events generally exceeds the number of sites that we are able to accommodate. In an effort to keep site selection fair to all registrants, sites will be ranked according to a rubric which will be available upon request. Preference will be given to organizations who are interested in collaborations.

THE DETAILS FOR HOSTING AN EVENT:
Additionally, event hosts are expected to attend one in-person, pre-festival meeting in April 2019.
All participating organizations must return a signed Indemnification Form and Certificate of Insurance.
Event hosts must participate in a planning calls, event check-ins, and/or walk-throughs.
