Greeter I

Unscheduled part time, 19 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Temporary until September 2018.

Minimum Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills; outgoing and friendly demeanor; one to two years of customer service experience. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Greeters are responsible for providing information, direction, show times, prices and activities in or around the museum. Greet busses and give group orientations. Check visitors for proper admission; challenges inappropriate behavior with students. Scan or tear tickets in theaters/special exhibits. Assist with lost children. Remind guests to not touch exhibit. Interact with guests and assist them with using Virtual Reality experiences. Safely operation attractions in “Your Brain” exhibit.
