Imagine if the planet’s smallest geniuses could share their biggest secrets. Precision flight, swarm intelligence, mind control—bugs did it first, and do it better. What would the future look like if we could match their brilliance?

Step inside a bug’s world.

Wonder at their talents, and learn from their adaptive genius through a bold, richly detailed experience. Encounter ultra-detailed, larger-than-life models of bugs, experience the world as they do through unique sensory experiences, and explore cutting-edge science inspired by insects. Get hands-on with real specimens from The Insectarium, and learn from expert staff as you safely interact with insects including grasshoppers, millipedes, moth caterpillars, and tarantulas.

Bugs Exhibit

Can you fathom the dragonfly’s speed, beat the mantis’ reflexes, and defeat the giant hornet? Test your abilities against those of bugs, investigate relevant bug-inspired technologies—from robotics to synthetic silk, and discover how scientists around the world are applying bug genius to solve complex problems in medicine and technology.

This is an exhibit like no other, and it will change the way you think about the complex world beneath your feet.
