Touch a real brain and meet a neuroscientist! The Franklin Institute celebrates Brain Awareness Week on Thursday, March 14 with a daylong exploration of the body’s most vital organ.
Visit the award-winning Your Brain exhibit to explore real brains at the “Brain Bar,” plus, learn the effects of head trauma and the importance of helmets, meet neurocientists from the Penn School of Medicine, and participate in dissections, live shows, brain-y games and activities centered around helmet safety, brain plasticity, and visual illusions.
Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign designed to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.
