Sticky, slimy, sweet, savory—the introduction of 3D printing technology has unlocked a whole new world of culinary possibilities! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how innovative startups like local company, Biobots, are changing the face of food using bioprinting technology. Together, participants will discover how 3D printed food can impact the lives of the elderly, ill, and astronauts, and will explore medicinal applications for 3D printed food. Participants won’t leave hungry, however—this class will culminate in printing and tasting your own unique snack!

*Minors (under age 18) must either be accompanied by an adult (with a paid ticket), or guardian must sign and submit a Workshop Consent Form. Completed forms may be emailed to email@example.com, or sent with child on the day of the workshop.
