The Franklin Institute joins the national initiative to recognize the historic achievements of women in all facets of life – science, community, government, literature, art, sports, and medicine.  Join us for this important day dedicated to spotlighting female role models and their impact on our world.

Other activities to celebrate Women in Science Day:

  • Hands-on activities featuring local partners who represent an array of scientific fields to show the many opportunities available to women in the STEM arena.
  • Female scientists from The Franklin Institute will share their science stories and demonstrate hands-on science for visitors.

The event is in observance of National Women’s History Month, dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the diverse and historic accomplishments of women.
