Deep Space Cantina 5
Jump into your spacesuit and gravitate to this interstellar crossroads where off-world visitors of all sentient species share refreshments, entertainment and their knowledge of the universe under the dome and survey select wonders of the cosmos that they inhabit and explore. *Droids welcome.

Put on your thinking caps as our Quizzo Master Bryce Remsburg puts you to the test with this out of this world edition of Science After Hours Quizzo! EachQuizzo features a unique round of questions with winners of each game receiving two passes to the next Science After Hours: Prom.
Show off your best moves and join in on the fun as Silent Philly brings us the tools for an electrifying dance party. With three stations of music traveling through the space, who knows what you’ll discover when you tune in and dance with friends new and old.

The Golden Record

Over 40 years ago, Voyager I & II launched from Earth on a mission to explore Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Accompanying those spacecraft was a collection of images, sounds, music, and greetings from Earth—otherwise known as The Golden Record. Join four dynamic performers for an imagining of the alien society that, far in the future, discovers one of the Voyager spacecraft and its deep space traveled Golden Record.

The schematics were transported and the week spot has been found, join the nerdiest crew this side of Yavin IV as we provide a cinematic and explosive end to the evening.

Fuel your curiosity with some sips and hands on tinkering with our friends North Bowl and PBR as we help get those gears turning for the Weird Science: An Adult Science Fair.
Let’s Get Meteor
Working out with our Let’s Get Meteor program will exercise both your body and mind to get you buns of iron, hydrogen, helium and everything else that makeup stars, the universe and you! Join our fantastic instructor Anne Dramada as we get the energy pumping during these interpretive demonstrations exploring the life and death of celestial objects with some laughs, kicks and lunges.
Death by Astronomy

As beautiful as galaxies and nebulae are, they are still cosmic death traps. Which would you prefer: Black hole spaghettification or being too close to a star that’s about to go ‘nova? Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts looks at the top ten ways the universe can kill you, and some ways to escape!

Join our knowledgeable astronomers as we look at the night sky through our historic 10” Zeiss refracting telescope.
Continue your experience of the night sky exploration with additional telescopes and spectacular views of the Philadelphia skyline on our 5th floor roof deck.
