Celebrating the national movement dedicated to demonstrating to girls that engineering is creative and collaborative and how being an engineer can change our world.
Saturday, February 24, 2018 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
The Franklin Institute joins the initiative to engage girls in all aspects of engineering and inspire them to consider careers in engineering and design with a day full of hands-on activities featuring multiple areas of engineering—such as mechanical, electrical, chemical and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet local female engineers and understand the significant role they have in shaping our future. The event is in recognition of National Engineers Week (February 18-24), dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.
