Featured Programming:
Lights, Camera, Action: A Hollywood Premiere (Live Show)

Join us for a true tinsel town experience as we script, cast, film, edit, add special effects, and premiere an original trailer, all in less than 25 minutes.  Everyone will be a part of the action as we take a look at the science behind our favorite films.

Red 40 and The Last Groovement
Hawaiian Punch has got nothing on the juice of this tangy outfit! Red 40 & The Last Groovement is a little naughty, a little trashy, and a lot of sexy. With pipes to bring down the biggest brick house, a horn section that would make your grandmother cry, and the craziest backup dancer you've ever seen, Red 40 gets everyone in the audience dancing. As Philly Mag says, their shows are "the stuff of local legend."

Old City Sweethearts
Like looking at Old Hollywood in the modern age, the Old City Sweethearts are glittery goodness with smiles brighter than flashbulbs and the kind of steps that would make Ginger Rogers proud. Performing three unique tribute pieces, these ladies bring the show to the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial, with dances made to entertain as well as honor the legacy of the sparkly showgirls of history. As audience members in the know can attest, the Sweethearts provide an experience worth watching again and again.

Movies about Movies
The Secret Cinema will present a special program of vintage short films about moviemaking, movie going, movie archives and more—all projected from rare 16mm film prints. Some of the classic titles to be shown include THE SOUNDMAN (1950), HOLLYWOOD SCREEN TEST (1937), THE FILM THAT WAS LOST (1942) and, in a nod to modernity, THE STORY OF TELEVISION (1956).
