Now that there is evidence of water on Mars, is colonizing another planet a real possibility?

The Franklin Institute’s Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts will take an in-depth look at sustainable living in space with NASA researcher and self-described “space settler” Dr. John Cumbers and internationally-recognized expert on energy, space, aviation, and risk management, Gregg Maryniak.

The speaker series is free and open to the public, with advance registration required. Please call 215-448-1200.

What will it take to get to Mars? Before the talk, we invite guests to screen Journey to Space in our IMAX theater. Tickets are $5 and the show starts at 5:45 pm. The movie tickets will be for sale at the box office.
