Two of astronomy’s most recent discoveries will be explored; Planet Nine, possibly the newest addition to our solar system, and gravitational waves - which might be described as the astronomy discovery of the decade, perhaps the century!

Our presenter, David Sliski is a graduate student at UPenn’s Physics and Astronomy department. He’s currently is exploring ways to better detect extra-solar planets. His previous advisor at University of Massachusetts Amherst now runs the gravitational wave data analysis team that may be making history.
