What is an Escape Room Game?

Escape Room games are an all-new form of reality entertainment where teams of 6-12 players must use and manipulate their surroundings to escape an enclosed area or achieve a goal within a set amount of time. Wildly popular across the United States, these themed spaces utilize a series of clues and puzzles to thrill and challenge participants as they work together to ‘win’ before time runs out.

Escape Rooms at The Franklin Institute are the next wave of Escape Room games, utilizing the industry’s most advanced technology and blending it with the largest, and most immersive environments to challenge and delight players of all ages.

At Escape Rooms at The Franklin Institute, players can choose one of two experiences: Intergalactic Escape or Island Escape. In these two unique experiences, players have 60 minutes to work together to solve clues, uncover hidden messages, and achieve goals. The puzzles—and their answers—are all located in the rooms themselves, and players must use their eyes, ears, bodies, and brains to decode their clues and reach the finish line. Players don’t need to know anything about islands or space to play the games, and children as young as 10 can play!
