Bring Your Own
Groups bringing their own lunches must reserve a lunch room in advance; the fee is $25 for groups of 15 - 150. Fee increases to $50 for groups of 151 or more. Lunchrooms are available Monday - Friday only and cannot be reserved on the weekends.
How it works: Collect your group's lunches in BOXES (no bags please) labeled with your school name before arriving at The Franklin Institute. Groups must pre-reserve space to eat in the lunchrooms. We will store your lunches in your assigned lunchroom while you explore the exhibits. Please note that this meal option does not include refrigeration.
Pro-Tip: All lunchrooms are reserved for 25 minutes. To maximize your lunchtime and enjoyment, please make sure to handle all restroom breaks, hand washing, and lunch purchasing (if needed), prior to your lunch start time.
