Educator's Night Out Frequently Asked Questions

1: Where should I park?
Limited parking is available in the Institute’s garage, located on 21st Street. Parking for this event is $6.00 and our garage typically fills up very quickly. Visit our Directions and Parking page to learn more about alternative parking locations.

2: What do I need to check-in?
In order to receive your complimentary admission, you will need to present a School ID or Paystub with a Photo ID. If this is not available at check-in, you will be charged $20 for your admission to the event.

3: What if I want to bring my spouse or children with me?
Non-teaching guests are welcome and are $20 each. Guest tickets do not need to be purchased in advance and can be purchased on-site during the event. Cash and/or credit card will be accepted. The guest rate applies to all guests ages 3 and up; children under 2 do not need a ticket.

4: What does the event include?

Attendees receive admission to the museum’s eleven interactive exhibits, along with all theater shows and Terracotta Warriors, our featured traveling exhibition for the year.  Light snacks will also be provided.  

5: What if I am arriving late? 
Don’t worry! This is an open house style event, so you are able to come and go as needed.  Registration will be available from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with entrances to Terracotta Warriors available every half hour until 7pm.
