Discovery Camp Facilitator

Temporary/Seasonal, Unscheduled Part-Time; May 2018 – September 2018; Monday – Friday

Camp Facilitator must have at least a College degree or equivalent experience in a childcare setting. Previous experience working with children, presenting hands-on, informal sciences, and a proven record of responsibilities are a must. Candidates must be highly pro-active and able to work with little supervision. Previous experience working with Discovery Camp is preferred.

Discovery Camp Facilitator will handle the daily logistics of a camp day. This position will coordinate activities and supplies for the pre and after care portions of the camp day. They will respond to camper needs like pick up/drop off, time out of the classrooms, and assistance with lunches. They will provide classroom support by assisting with activities when needed and being available for questions from Counselors. They will also monitor and assist with classroom order and cleanliness.
