Dead Sea Scrolls

Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit

After a successful run in 2011 at The Franklin Institute serving over 150,000 guests, this exhibit is now on tour at museums and institutions across the United States. The exhibit opens March 10, 2015  at the California Science Center. At this time, there are no plans to bring the exhibit back on display at The Franklin Institute.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are one of the 20th century’s most significant archeological finds and are historically relevant in both ancient and modern terms. This exhibit features more than 600 ancient artifacts from biblical to Islamic periods, several multimedia presentations, graphic panels, and a replica of the Western Wall featuring an actual stone from the wall. This exhibition is a must-see for any religion or history buff. Let your visitors explore this fascinating exhibit by bringing it to your museum or institution.
