The Franklin Institute has been nationally recognized by The Noyce Foundation for its strong leadership in convening partnerships and reaching underserved audiences through the Philadelphia Science Festival and its other community programs. The Noyce Foundation Bright Lights Community Engagement Award honors select science centers, children’s museums and natural history museums nationwide that have excelled in engaging their local communities.  “The Franklin Institute has played a unique, challenging, and incredibly important role as convener, host, and catalyst for collaboration—helping leverage the unique contributions and resources of many organizations in the Philadelphia area and surrounding communities,” said Ann S.
