Admissions Supervisor

Manager of Admissions

Employment Status: 
Full-Time; will be required to work the majority of closing shifts including weekends and holidays.  Some shifts will extend into the early morning hours.  Schedules are subject to change based upon the needs of the department and Museum.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma. At least 3 years of Guest Service experience in high volume attraction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Training, team building and staff coaching experience.  Cash handling, register and reconciliation experience. Experience with Galaxy Ticketing Systems preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Admissions Supervisor is primarily responsible for all tasks associated with the general operation of Admissions Ticketing areas.  This position serves as a liaison between the front line staff and the Management Team, and will provide strict oversight to the floor operations as well as provide on-going Guest Service and system coaching to Front Line Staff.  The Supervisor will also assist managers in the development and implementation of new internal and external Guest Service and Training Initiatives.  Other responsibilities include, maintaining a strong presence on the Floor in an effort to provide quality service, quick and polite resolution to guest concerns, efficient line expedition in all areas, and insure a world-class visitor experience for all guests.  Provide on-going coaching to Front Line Staff in the areas of Guest Service, Sales, System Knowledge and Daily Register Reconciliation.  Complete appropriate disciplinary forms as necessary and recommend formal additional training when applicable.  Operate a cash drawer.  Maintain an accurate count of Admissions Revenue and General Safe Room Funds through the use of set accounting procedures.  Maintain an accurate account of inventory through the performance of weekly counts and report submission.  Communicate purchasing needs to Management in a timely manner.
