Contact Center Representative

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS    
The ideal candidate will have superior customer service and verbal and listening skills, as well as 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a Contact Center setting. High school diploma required. Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems is a must, with proficiency with the Gateway ticketing system a plus. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    
The Contact Center Sales Representative is responsible for politely and professionally answering inbound calls to the Franklin Institute, as well as processing payments in a secure, orderly and efficient manner. A commitment to excellent customer service and providing a positive experience for each guest is a must. They will become an expert in museum programs, exhibits, and shows and will promote and upsell all of the museum offerings. They will handle requests received via phone, mail, and web in a clear and concise manner, and will ensure all bookings are processed accurately in our ticketing system. 

All Contact Center Sales Representatives are expected to be on time, reliable, and consistent and display a customer service-centric attitude. They are detail-oriented and able to multi-task, have a thorough knowledge of the wide variety of available resources, and take ownership for effectively solving customer issues and complaints. The Contact Center Sales Representative will also perform basic clerical duties as assigned, including but not limited to mailing, filing, and copying.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS    
Unscheduled part-time, 15 to 19 hours per week. Weekends, some evenings, and holidays will be required.
