The Wright 1911 Model B Flyer

The engine restoration and assembly is in the final stages. These pictures are from July 2002. Click on the images for larger views.


At left, Roger works on the final stages of engine assembly, lubricating oil & fuel pump drive gears on the camshaft. At right, he is holding the magneto ready for installation.


Roger positions the magneto on engine mounting plate (L), and installs magneto mount bolts (R).


Roger fits the ignition wires to ignition plugs at left, and at right, he fits the ignition wires to the magneto distributor block.


These pictures show the left side of the engine following restoration.
