The Wright 1911 Model B Flyer

Most of these September, 2002 pictures are of the Flyer's seat disassembly and restoration. Click on the images for larger views.


The Flyer's seats are in serious need of restoration work.


Here are more images of the Model B's seats.


This restoration process must be done very carefully.


Twin seats.


The propeller has been sanded and it is ready for varnish.


The original leather-covered seat tacks were still fastened to the wooden seats (L), and the propeller tip shows the lamination separation (R).
