Were they flying off into the sunset? The black-and-white film hides the answer, but there's no question that they managed a Hollywood-style ending for the film. There's a gorgeous liftoff with great altitude. The courageous cameraperson seems to be right on the runway so that we get a great flyover shot and see the underside of the Flyer. |
