On this RADAR image, notice the leading edge of a cold air mass or a cold front, moving down from the Northwest. The lower right arrow points to another boundary or frontal system that is to the east. If you follow the edges of these two fronts, you'll see where they intersect, causing rain showers and thundershowers. These showers are common with the arrival of cold fronts.
