The Lafayette County Courthouse

The Lafayette County Courthouse was completed in November 1909.  It is built of wood and covered with stucco. The old courthouse was sold for $615.00 and was moved across the street where it now stands. The clock in the courthouse has been a part of our community for 90 years and has been through many repairs.  Currently, it is keeping great time!
