What would happen if only teachers were allowed in the museum? No kids to worry about, no clock to watch. They'd really be able to check out the exhibits and find out what there is to learn about science. Then, they'd really be able to teach about science.
The Franklin Institute Science Museum lets teachers do just that through the Teacher Overnight program. Teachers from all over the community arrive at the museum with sleeping bags, pillows, and enthusiasm for a long night. By the next morning, they will have explored the exhibits, participated in thematic workshops, and maybe made some new discoveries about science education.
