There's a Mystery in the Museum!

The Franklin Institute needs YOU and your group of special agents to get to the root of the mystery. The Institute's ace team of Camp-In agents will put your rookies through their unique overnight training program. Campers will rise and shine as accomplished code-cracking, spy-catching secret agents equipped with all the science crime-solving skills needed to crack any case.

It's all part of The Franklin Institute's signature overnight Camp-In experience. Camp-In combines interactive programs and hands-on science activities developed exclusively for this year's Spy Camp with an action-packed museum visit. Plus,

  • Forces of Nature in the Tuttleman IMAX® Theater
  • Infinity Express in the Fels Planetatium
  • The Giant Heart—Newly Renovated Exhibit
  • The whole museum is yours to explore!

With this sample schedule and further details, you can get a good idea of what to expect when attending a Camp-In. Travel information is available.

 Spy Camp Highlights
The Spy Science Show
Join us for the live orientation show where you will meet The Franklin Institute's team of investigators and be briefed on your first mission. The Spy Science show will teach campers the secrets behind the science of spies like cracking codes, launching jet packs, and seeing through walls. We are counting on you to solve the mystery.

Spy-in-Training
From orientation, it's off to spy training camp. Campers will get their hands wet as a new agent and put the pieces of the mystery together from all the different clues they collect. Campers will build spyglasses and decipher hidden codes and much more at the activity stations throughout the museum! Free time exploration will also be a part of the mission, during the evening and the morning, so that campers can visit their favorite exhibits.
