The Giant Heart Exhibit

Imagine an event with a beat all its own. The Giant Heart exhibit features the famous walk-through Heart and many other interactive exhibits that explore the science of the human body. Four iconic experiences interpret heart anatomy and physiology in an exhibit gallery framed with architectural details and columns reminiscent of the 1920s World’s Fair.

The walk-through heart was originally built of paper maché in 1954
as a temporary exhibition called “The Engine of Life.”
