[ Spotlighting | Minutes from ME | Puzzler | Thisday | BioPoint ]

volume three, issue seven

Back to School, 1997

New pencils. New shoes. New lunchboxes. A new school year calls for new school things. "inQuiry Almanack" is new too! For the new school year, we've made some changes to our features and we've added a fresh new look.

Amy, our resident science student, has moved on. "Quite Amazing" lives only in the archives now. However, Amy will still contribute to "inQuiry Almanack." This year, our new feature, "BioPoint," offers a glimpse into Amy's Honors Biology lab. Her teacher, Mrs. Becky Mazen, will share her Biology point of view online throughout the year. Amy will offer the student point of view. Together, they'll get the "BioPoint."

"Thisday" is a new monthly feature that organizes the "days" of the month for you. September 17, for example, is Citizenship Day. You'll find some handy web resources for acknowledging the day in your classroom. Of course, on the web, every day offers something new. Bookmark "Thisday." You'll want to check it "everyday."

"Spotlighting" remains the same, with a year of exciting new features planned for you. You'll find more "Minutes from ME," with a twist. This year, the minutes will add up to a year-long investigation of the senses. "How Puzzling" has evolved into "Puzzler." September offers some rebuses for you to solve.
