February is fun! Begin the month by celebrating Groundhog Day on February 2nd. Like many animals, groundhogs hibernate for the winter. You can learn more about animal behavior by browsing "Living Things," our Spotlight feature of the month.
On the 14th, remember your Valentine and celebrate the day by taking another look at The Heart, an online exploration of the human heart. You'll also want to take a minute to try ME's Heartbeat demonstration.
Throw a birthday party for George and Abe on the 17th when we celebrate Presidents' Day.
Don't forget to visit our online school of the month and remember that February is also Black History Month.
It may be the shortest month, but there's plenty to keep you busy!
