Life and Its Origins

What is life and where did it come from? It is a
question that many have asked, but just when an answer
seems to be within our grasp it is replaced by more
questions. I have pondered this question many times and
I have come to my own unique conclusions. My answer
comes from my experiences, and my years on this Earth
have been relatively few, so I expect my answer to
change many times before I die, but not by much.

As scientists we are able to determine if something
is alive, but what is it that makes something alive.
Life is something within us. Life is in and all around us.

Inside of each person there are tiny specs of life at
work. All the tiny cells we have work together and
with out them we could not function. Even air we
breath is filled with life. It is a part of us and
shall never leave us. Even at our so called death we
live on not only mentally in the thoughts of others
and the actions that we performed, but also physically
in the ground that we nourish with our return to it.
Life is not different for every person. We are a part
of other people’s life and they are a part of ours.
Whether we realize it or not what we do and say
effects others and vice versa. Simply put we are
all a part of one spirit and it is a part of us.

Life is truly a powerful force, but where did it come
from. The Bible says that all life was created by God,
but science says that life was probably started by
various chemicals coming together under the right
conditions and reacting to make the first signs of
life. To me the answer lies within a combination
of the two theories. At first the galaxy was a
compact ball of mass. Then after the big bang
many bits and pieces of rock were floating around
the galaxy. On of these pieces was the Earth. On
the Earth there were many different chemicals that
were in close proximity to each other. This was
where God comes in. God took those chemicals that
were inanimate in and of themselves and he added
something special from himself to them that without
it they could not be alive. Then he combined the
chemicals in such a way that they became the first
sign of life. As life continued God created more
and more different things out of the primordial
ooze. Soon the world was full of life. As life
continued the conditions of the world changed and
so the first beings adapted over millions of years
until the Earth became what it is today. Without
this special ingredient which came from God there
 would be no life.

Life is a very precious thing. Everything that
has life is interconnected in some way, shape or
form. The gift of life is one that no one
 should waste.
