inQuiry Almanack
volume two, issue five

It's inevitable that students start to let their minds wander in May. The weather changes and thoughts turn to summertime. Teachers talk of science and students think of play. Lessons on geography stimulate thoughts of summer vacation.

This month's issue of "inQuiry Almanack" offers activities and ideas for passing away the days of May. The Spotlight invites you to become a naturalist. Tips for taking a hike make science seem more like play. A trip to the forest may seem more like vacation than geography.

So, let your mind wander. Summertime is only weeks away.
