The Mission

Prior to Apollo 10, NASA had launched a series of space missions. The Apollo 10 mission was a test run for the moon landing.

Although Apollo 10 did not land on the moon, astronauts Stafford, Young and Cernan carried out many tests to make the lunar landing that followed much safer.

Who were the crew ?

Have a look at the interactive Flight Profile of the mission and see how they got to the Moon and back.
