The Science Leadership Academy

The Science Leadership Academy (SLA) is a Philadelphia public high school that opened its doors on September 7, 2006.

Developed in partnership with The Franklin Institute and its commitment to inquiry-based science, the SLA provides a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum with a focus on science, technology, mathematics and entrepreneurship.

LEAP into Science

LEAP into Science

LEAP into Science is a partnership between The Franklin Institute and the Free Library of Philadelphia. The goal of LEAP into Science is to create hands-on science programs that after-school leaders want to teach and children want to learn.

Community Ambassadors in Science Exploration (CASE) is a new model for encouraging the appreciation and understanding of science among a diverse set of local communities. CASE is a program of PISEC, the Philadelphia/Camden Informal Science Education Collaborative.
