OVERVIEW
Welcome!  My fourth graders at Kearny Academic Plus Elementary School in Philadelphia learned about electricity and magnetism this year.  They experimented with magnetism and electricity, and they explored the relationship between electricity and magnetism.  In addition, the students learned about Benjamin Franklin and the colonial period.  They read many nonfiction books about these topics and communicated their understandings through experimentation, writing, drawing, and discussion.  This web page is an account of what we learned and did this year.
