Plan
and Predict
Children
chose photographs of items
and utilized a Velcro chart to record
predictions.
Act
and Observe
The
scientific approach of trial and error gave the children the opportunity to
test and modify their predictions. The children conducted investigations to
discover what items sink or float.
Report
and Reflect
The children shared and documented
their findings through a draw and write activity. Then they modified their predictions on the
chart.
