The study of balls and ramps can be an exciting adventure to undertake for both students and teachers.  This unit is designed for students of Grade 1 to understand the way to change how something is moved.  They should gain varied experiences in making things move or not move.  Additional activities should provide experience hanging the direction or speed of things.  These activities will shape their intuition about motion and force.
