Invention 1 | Invention 2 | Invention 3 | Invention 4

How to design a bath gauge

Points to consider:

  • First work out the type of material you are going to use.
  • Remember that the gauge will need to be waterproof.
  • Design the gauge. Make it colourful, easy to see and use.
  • Work out how you are going to put the scale onto the gauge [markings….20 litres, 30 litres etc].
  • Remember how you worked out how much water you use to fill a bath. [click here if you need reminding] This time you will need to fill the bath with a known volume of water. Mark it on your gauge and keep filling the bath and marking on the gauge till the bath is full.
  • Work out how you will attach the gauge to the inside of the bath. [clue….suckers]
GOOD LUCK!
