Whether you are new to planning group visits or highly experienced, we make planning a trip to The Franklin Institute easy! Read below for all the information you need for a fantastic group visit!

Groups of 15 or more always save when visiting The Franklin Institute!
Always book in advance! Discounted group tickets cannot be purchased at the door.

Youth groups are considered any school age group between the ages of 3 and 18.

Chaperones play a vital role in any field trip. All youth groups are required to have 1 chaperone for every 10 youth. We encourage groups to bring additional chaperones and will allow a maximum of 1 chaperone for every 5 youth to receive chaperone rates. After that, additional chaperones pay the discounted adult group rate. Please note, chaperone rates are valid for weekday (Monday through Friday) visits only.

PAYMENT DETAILS
The Franklin Institute accepts Cash, Credit Card, Check or Money Order. Only one check per group accepted; checks must be made payable to The Franklin Institute.

General Admission groups must pay a minimum 25% deposit two weeks prior to the date of visit, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.

Special Exhibit groups must pay in full two weeks prior to the date of visit.

All payments are non-refundable. Visits that are cancelled after payment is received will receive a credit for a future group visit.

PARKING
Buses: Drop-off/pick-up is located on 20th Street in front of the museum. There is no bus parking available at the museum or within the vicinity. Per the City of Philadelphia, buses must proceed to the Callowhill Bus Center at 2nd and Callowhill Streets. There is a fee of $20 per bus (subject to change) and is payable upon arrival at the Bus Center. For more information, contact the Bus Center at 215.829.3330.

Cars: Limited parking for cars is available in the museum's garage on 21st Street. CLICK HERE for garage fees and directions. Metered street parking is also available.

Larger Vehicles/Passenger Vans: Vehicles larger than 6'3" will not fit into the museum's parking garage. Metered street parking is available. For a listing of other private lots, please visit www.visitphilly.com/parking.
