Giant Mysterious Dinosaurs

in the Mandell Center


The world’s largest and most unusual dinosaurs invade The Franklin Institute in the all-new exhibition, Giant Mysterious Dinosaurs! Get an up-close look at GIGANTIC dinosaurs from the farthest reaches of the globe – some as long as 70 feet. Students will be able to touch real fossils, view remarkable skeletons, see robotic dinos in action and unearth their own discoveries in a hands-on dig pit.

Design is everywhere we look and in everything we do – and math is behind it all! Students will go behind the scenes in this highly interactive exhibit and create their own rollercoaster, dance beat and more! Dead Sea Scrolls

Opening May 12, 2012
in the Mandell Center

From the shores of the Dead Sea, comes one of the most significant archaeological discoveries ever made. See the most comprehensive collection of ancient artifacts from Israel ever organized in Dead Sea Scrolls. This extraordinary exhibition features ten scrolls, the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible, and an actual three-ton stone from Jerusalem’s Western Wall.
