Carnival of Machines
Grades 3-12

Through this dynamic live show, students will discover that an object does not have to be complicated to be a machine – it just needs to perform work. We will put various simple machines into action on stage, exploring the concept of work and the basic physics of motion. Content will be adjusted to ensure students receive fun and age-appropriate learning experiences.Content adjusted for grade levels 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

CBS 3 Weather Show

Grades 3-12

This show reveals the science of weather – to the extreme! Where does our weather come from, and what factors make it sunny or blustery? We will make a cloud, explore thunder and lightning, and even create a twister on stage! Content adjusted for grade levels 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Liquid Air Show
Grades 3-12

Take part in some chilling science with liquid nitrogen to see how ultra-cold temperatures change the ways that familiar materials behave. In this high-energy show, students join Museum Educators in experiments with solids, liquids and gases. Content adjusted for grade levels K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Chemistry Show

Grades 6-12

The chemistry show uses exciting demonstrations to give students a first-hand look at why we study chemistry and how chemists improve our daily lives. On-stage demos include physical and chemical changes, acid/base reactions and combustion. Content adjusted for grade levels 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12.
