Welcome to Frederick Frog's Slide Shows. There are three slide shows that introduce you to the animals and plants that you can expect to find in Lilypad Pond.

	Frederick's Friends on the Pond Surface There are many floating plants and air-breathing animals on the pond surface. Most of the animals are very light and either live on the top or the bottom of the pond.
	Frederick's Friends in the Water The Pond water area stretches between the surface film and the muddy bottom. The animals that inhabit the waters live there for their entire lives!
	Frederick's Friends on the Bottom Many of the bottom pond dwellers are scavengers or predators. Some animals live their entire lives at the bottom while others spend their larval stages there.
