Create rockets with your students to demonstrate the mechanics of rocket propulsion.
We conducted our experiments based on: The Space Place Launch Pad. Students create Pop Rockets that really work!
Another great reference is:
Students follow directions to assemble a space shuttle. Download the Space Shuttle Glider Kit from: NASA Space Link.
Watch your students' creativity soar as they experiment with pointillism! Using an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of white paper, invite your students to draw a large but simple space shape (e.g. comet, space ship, star) and fill in the shape with points using various colours.
Try this fabulous Art activity: Man in the Moon with Two Faces (with or without a computer!)
Students design a gameboard based upon information that they have gained throughout the Space unit.
Print these scripts and videotape your team!
