This is a wonderful activity to assign to complement the Planet Project! Students can work on this Marble Planet Project independently with partners at home!

Materials:

  • marbles to represent the various planets
  • cardboard
  • black spray paint
  • planet labels

    Method:

    1. Choose marbles to represent the various planets
    2. Paint the cardboard background black
    3. Hot-glue marbles to cardboard
    4. Label the planets
