Operation Webfoot

Michigan J. FrogWelcome to Operation Webfoot.

Operation Webfoot originated as an idea to help stimulate young minds in the area of geography, history and science. Stuffed animals traveled around the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Guam and Israel. Host families would take the stuffed animals to local areas and report back to Cucamonga Middle School, in Rancho Cucamonga, California, on the exploits of the animal.  Donald DuckStudents would use this information to publish a geographic travelogue for our stuffed "fuzzies."  Please go to Operation Webfoot's history page to learn how the whole project got started and to see pictures of our webfeet at various locales around the United States.
Operation Webfoot will be a part of the Franklin Institute On-line Fellowship program for the 1998-1999 school year. Two stuffed animals will travel to the on-line fellow's schools during the school year.  The animals will bring with them a science experiment for the students to try.  Data will be sent back to Cucamonga Middle School for publication on this website.
Follow the exploits of Donald Duck and Michigan J. Frog as they travel around North America spreading good cheer and science knowledge wherever they go.  Their itinerary is listed at the left.
