Pangea

The Pangea is about 200 million years old and became broken into the land masses Laurasia and Gondwandland. The present continents move. The top map shows how the Pangea looked like when it was about 200 milion years ago. According to this theory, all the continents once formed part of an enormous single land mass, called a pangea. Although much of the earths land now lies in the Northern and the Southern Hemisphere, half of the pangea was in the Southern Hemisphere.
